Path Dependent Option

Path Dependent Option is an option whose valuation and payoff depends on the realized price path of the underlying asset, such as an Asian option or a Lookback option.

Option: Option is a contract that gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell a specified quantity of a commodity or other instrument at a specific price within a specified period of time, regardless of the market price of that instrument. There are two types of options: Put Options and Call Options.

Asian Option: Asian Option is an exotic option whose payoff depends on the average price of the underlying asset during some portion of the life of the option.

Lookback Option: Lookback Option is an exotic option whose payoff depends on the minimum or maximum price of the underlying asset during some portion of the life of the option.
