The Wiener Borse AG (also known as the Vienna Stock Exchange (WBAG)) is a stock exchange in Vienna, Austria and one of the most established exchanges in Eastern- and Southeastern Europe.

Wiener Borse is one of the world's oldest exchanges and was founded in 1771 during the reign of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria in order to provide a market for state issued bonds.

The Vienna Stock Exchange represents approximately 60% of Austrian stock trade, with the balance traded over-the-counter. The WBI Index is made up of all domestic shares listed, while the ATX (Austrian Traded Index) is the largest stock market index on the exchange.

All trading is conducted electronically through EQOS (Electronic Quote and Order-Driven System) which is based on the Deutsche Borse's Xetra (trading system).

Risk Statement:

Naked options trading is very risky - many people lose money trading them. It is recommended contacting your broker or investment professional to find out about trading risk and margin requirements before getting involved into trading uncovered options.
